Maternity Photos in the Central Valley


Maternity photography is one of my all-time favorite genres. It's such a short chapter in one's life, but holds so much meaning. I know that pregnancy doesn't always feel glamorous, but I'm here to show you that you can look and feel like a goddess and have dreamy photos to look back on in the years to come.

West 12 Ranch, Lodi.


West 12 Ranch is an indoor/outdoor photography venue located in Lodi, California. It offers an exquisite variety of setups for any kind of photoshoot. When I tell you that I could shoot here all day long, I really mean it! The ranch has two large barns with meticulously crafted setups inside and an ENDLESS amount of props for you to unleash your own creativity. The barns are nestled on the most breathtaking landscapes with vast fields, gorgeous sunsets, willow trees, and even horses. There is truly a surprise around every corner at West 12 Ranch.

The Experience


My favorite thing about the venue is that not only does it allow for STUNNING photos, but it gives the client an unforgettable experience. When I first arrived at the ranch, I was greeted by the cutest group of chickens and roosters. The owner, Barb, then took me on a private tour and made sure that I knew where all of the props, florals, and different setups were. You can tell that a tremendous amount of care and time have been put into the space. I knew before arriving that the location was gorgeous, and that I would enjoy seeing all of the horses, but I wasn't prepared for how much I would adore the indoor setups as well.

Boho Indoor Space


There are several elegant setups around the venue, but my favorite was the brand-new boho room. With gentle natural light, rustic white wooden plank walls, a touch of greenery, and even a peacock chair, this room is everything that my photographer heart has dreamed of. I can visualize a lovely motherhood or lifestyle newborn session in this space.
